'Roaring'

wrightylew [Edit] [Delete] 16:00, 29 June '06

Right, I really don't get why people do this instead of singing. I think its pretty funny to watch / listen to, but I cannot comprehend how its actually enjoyed.

Does it not seem to anyone else like they're trying to pretend to be big scary monsters? That kind of music is just complete pantomime. If it didn't come with all the "Bleeding Babies of Death" attachments, would anyone like it?

It seems like music someone listens to so they look 'HARDCORE'. For example, some girl at school puts 'Job For a Cowboy' on her phone, and I called it comedy music. She said, "Its just because you aren't hardcore enough."

I'd be so embarrassed to get up on stage and pretend to be a fucking vampire. I can take screaming, if its in moderation like Trail of Dead or Nirvana, but when entire songs are made up of "ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAR!", I start to feel offended that my ears are being put through such torture.
