No pause for breath

Filip [Edit] [Delete] 18:01, 29 June '06

I was listening/singing along to All Hail West Texas by The Mountain Goats earlier and once again failed to get even remotely in time with John when he sings:

"I threw a rock at a crow
who was playing in the mulch
of the rose bushes by the motel office"

on Distant Stations in one breath and was wondering about other one breath/wordy moments in songs. Someone who does it a lot (especially live) is Eleanor Friedberger from the Fiery Furnaces, eg:

"When they met at Joey Meyer’s
Red White and Blue Demon basketball seminar tutorial clinic day care camp
For underprivileged kids
And overstimulated brats."

And of course a ton of punk/hip hop. Are there any lyrics that an act you like manages to say in one breath that you are simply incapable of copying no matter how well you know the words?
