I've never met a RHCP fan who wasn't offensive when I voiced my opinion about their band being boring.

Other bands who's fans are extremely unpleasant when you don't like their band are:-
-Bon Jovi
-Tenacious D
-Foo Fighters
-Razorlite
-The others

What is it hat causes the fans to feel so defensiv of their idols? If someone told me radiohead were pretentious wank I'd just smile at them and say something condescending about "not getting it"
