I love Billie Holiday. Her voice and her music and the whole feel of the recordings just takes me far away. Sadly despite having five billie holiday cds at some point in my life I decided I didn't need to bring them to my new home with me and so consequently I only have 'please keep me in your dreams' for company.

I think she comes from a time when people didn't so much time agonising over whether music was 'good' or not.
