I went to check out a band last night who I had heard a couple of tracks by recently - good enough tracks to make me book em to play AC30. I expected them to be pretty good live, but I was totally blown away at how good they were.

The band was The Lea Shores, and they kinda reminded me of 2nd album era Telescopes (tracks like Ocean Drive and Please Tell Mother especially).

Its always nice when a band totally surpasses your expectations live though. Anyone else seen a band recently that has had this effect?
