Blacklands are in need of a new drummer to join our new expanded line up. The current line up is vocals, guitar (x1), bass, keys and violin (bizarrely played by our last drummer who doesn't want to play drums anymore).

We are a very musically adept band that prefers the dark side of things musically and who play proper songs (with tunes, verses, choruses, etc) with occasional extended instrumental sections. Basically, imagine Nick Cave playing the Flaming Lips with the energy of the Pixies and you'll get somewhere near to how we're sounding these days.

We are looking for a drummer who can think outside of the box a bit, treats the drums as an instrument (not a device for keeping time), has a good four or five years experience and who works well with others (no egos please!).
