I am looking for a bassist.

I make electronica with songs. I have a single out in June on Exercise1 and an EP out later with Transgressive (who bring you Subways, Ladyfuzz, Mystery Jets, Pipettes etc). Currently in talks with various people about more stuff for the future.

I have many, many gigs booked and am currently playing solo. i want to put together a backing band, the rest of the which is in place.

I am looking for a bassist who has :

eclectic tastes (brian eno, four tet, scott walker, talking heads, beach boys)
a very good ear
the ability to pick things up very quickly

why do people always put "no timewasters" at the end of these things? isn't that obvious?
