But we're looking for more artists who are are interested in open source distribution of their material.

This means users can download a zip file from an artist containing oggs of final tracks and a 'source' folder of all the audio files, vst.synth configs, circuit bent toy schemata etc used.

Artists would usually be protected under the creative commons 'sharealike' licence at the moment that gives permission for unlimited copying of your tracks and the use in other open-source only projects. Other licences are avilalbe for commercial use of your tracks.

We're trying to work out an alternative to this and copyleft but it will do for now.

From time to time and when we can afford it vinyl and cd pressings will be made at our expense and we will give 50% of sales to the artist.

any style of music but at the moment noise, chiptune, tracker music and glitch seems to be coming in.
