4 or 5 Magicians are me, my songs, and some other guys who can play better than me on certain instruments. Now is your chance to be one of those guys!

We can officially claim we are Steve Lamacq's "New Favourite Band" (until tomorrow evening). As well as being his single of the week. Until he decides its time for a new week. Huw Stephens likes us as well. Playmusic magazine voted us the best unsigned indie band in the UK. Which is great, but its cheating a bit because we are affiliated (though not actually signed) to This Is Fake DIY Records (we are the physics, popular workshop, manda rin from bis! etc.) who released our last single, are releasing another in August, and two EPs back to back in October.

We have lots of shows booked this summer in July and August, and due to our guitarist Sam getting a job, we need a GUITARIST first and foremost to play with us. Though a Steven Drozd style multi-instrumentalist (minus the heroin addiction) would be ideal.

If you wanted to join permanently then great, but if you are a student with the summer off or something, and could only play in July and August, then that's cool with me.

Also, if you play any other instruments like the Trumpet, Trombone, or Tuba, the keyboard, or even if you just dance like Bez or Flavor Flav, and you want to get involved, then please also get in touch for more info.
