I want to do SOMETHING in GLASGOW

SteelersFan_UK06 [Edit] [Delete] 04:04, 15 January '09

Right, so its so fucking shit here. I'm sitting thinking of all this amazing musical stuff we could do, we've got our synth and our drums and our shit-hot-gonna-get-signed-girlfriend-of-a-friend person and a whole bunch of other musical folk, but they have no inspiration to play together, and WE'RE one of the few places that actually HAS a freakin' studio (Lo-Fi ftw). Added to the fact that we're in GLASGOW, which is too busy listening to The Fratellis, Amy Macdonald and Glasvegas to notice that most music we produce is really, really, really bad. Patriotism ftl.

So i figured I might as well put something out here. Here's my scope. I read NME, but don't typecast me as one of them. I listen to loads of really mellow stuff, Air, Portishead, Massive Attack, Zero 7. But I'm really one of those indie ones at heart. My Jesuses are Radiohead and Arctic Monkeys. I love Bloc Party, Franz, Interpol, and anything else that sounds like it could have potential.

If anyone wants to get a couple of people together and play something, I think it would make me a LOT less insane at how crap this city really actually is. PM me. or something. Aah!
