Hi, we're trying to get a band going in Reading. There's three of us, all around 22: two guitars and one bass looking for a vocalist and drummer. We've currently got four rough songs finished but we feel that we need an interesting vocalist and a technical (or just solid!) drummer to push things further. We're really into bands like mew, the stills, idlewild, death cab for cutie, slowdive, explosions in the sky, the shins, mogwai, bat for lashes, bjork (although we don't make an effort to sound like any of them) and of course like lots of other bands and types of music. We'd like to hear from anyone, male or female, who has a similar taste in music to us and see what we can get going - we'd be aiming to start gigging when we have enough songs and are tight.
