Hi, I'm a 25 year old guitarist currently living in Manchester and I'm looking for like minded people to start a band with.

The CDs stacked on top of my stereo at the moment are Dinosaur Jr, Smashing Pumpkins, Dead Meadow, Kyuss, Neil Young,
The Doors, Sonic Youth, Pixies, Comets on Fire, Eagles of Death Metal, The Raconteurs, The Byrds, The Who and Soundgarden.
That's just a small cross section of what I like but I suppose it's fairly representative of what I'm after -
something rocky/psychadelic and a bit 'experimental' for want of a better word but with SONGS! However, anything could happen.

Primarily I'm looking for a drummer to bounce ideas off and mess around with dynamics etc... I don't particularly consider myself
a songwriter but I come up with the occasional riffs, ideas and sometimes full songs but so it would be good to find someone who
was a good writer aswell that I could contribute guitar to. I have met a few people in the past who responded to an advert but then
weren't particularly into the same stuff or weren't that competent so I'm definitely looking for people who are really passionate about

pretty neglected for the last few months and there's only a couple of bits of music up there. They're pretty rough ideas and both
kinda different styles but I guess they give you some idea of how I play.
