Tupolev Ghost seek guitarist (London)
Fairly established post-hardcore/indie-rock act The Tupolev Ghost seek a new guitarist. Unfortunately the one we're losing, who is moving to session work, was very talented so we're going to be specific in who we need next. We're looking for someone who is technically very proficient, creative, and who can, ideally, sing/shout and play drums to a mediocre/good level. If you have a car and you're easy going this too would be beneficial.
Influences: Fugazi, Shellac, Unwound, At The Drive-In, Stapleton, Hot Snakes, Idlewild, Burning Airlines, Jawbox, Shotmaker, The Walkmen, These Arms Are Snakes etc.
We have a mini album out on Big Scary Monsters, a split 10" on Holy Roar and have interest from a couple of labels for a full album next year. We have had a fair amount of press, we played Offset festival last weekend and there is more in the pipeline.
