Bradford is shit! I NEED A VOCALIST with the same vision as myself

EUEWTK [Edit] [Delete] 14:29, 27 September '09

Hi everybody.

I'm bored of genres, I'm bored of the tags - rock, rap, hardcore, post-punk, soul, electronica....
I love music too much to be concerned with names and styles.

I want this group to be one of the first of the new century to do-away with the 20th century mentality of genres, tags, boxes and labels.

I want narrow minded kids to flee in disgust back to their 'indie' and 'punk' havens.

Influences: Stooges, At The Drive-In, Massive Attack, Tricky, Wu-Tang Clan, Faith No More, Queens Of The Stoneage, MC5, Beastie Boys, Beck, Mos Def, Pete Rock, Bjork, Jay Electronica, Billy Paul....

I'm NOT looking to start a band that : sticks to ONE style of music or one mood, vibe, tempo etc. I'm NOT looking for something that reflects today's current trend - especially 'Indie', polished image/music, shitty lyrics about teenage girls or any narrow view point that pampers to the usual stereo-type of cliche indie rock.

What I WANT TO start is: An army that wants to be bold. A vocalist that will be on the same wave length, somebody who is eclectic and with an enthusiasm to develop and try new things. Somebody who is loud and dynamic (Mike Patton, Cedric, Bjork, Rick Froberg - etc)....

Imagine an an act that had the ability to blend At The Drive-in with Queens Of The Stoneage, Mos Def, Bjork and Massive Attack.....? Interested?

WEST YORKSHIRE GIRLS AND BOYS GET IN TOUCH!
Thanks
