As you may or may not know last year our drummer Christian Medgett left the band temporarily to full-fill obligations to his Motherlands national service, this put Throats on hold for the majority of the last nine months. It has been an awkward time for both the rest of the band here in England and Christian.

Though it had been his intention to return to the band he has decided that due to commitments back home he, sadly, can no longer continue drumming for Throats. Although we completely respect his decision this leaves us without a drummer, opening up a vacancy amongst Throats.

We are looking for a hard hitting, tech worshipping, powerhouse who not only feels they can confidently fill in Christian’s position but also bring something new to Throats musical palette. Ideally applicants will have:

- Band/ touring experience
- Their own equipment
- 18-25 Years of age
- Live in London or the surrounding area or means to travel there.
- A passionate, unquenchable thirst for drumming
- 100% commitment in terms of touring
- The availability to write and record the new Throats record in this coming month.
