Hi,

We're Deer Park. We're based in London and urgently need a drummer with a penchant for indie/alt folk. We need someone who can hit hard but is also versatile and has a bit of presence. If you have a strong voice for backing vocals that's a huge plus. We released our debut album in late 2009, mastered by Billy Stull (Okkervil River, Midlake, Shearwater), artwork by Jesse Le Doux (Modest Mouse, Elliott Smith, The Shins) and Julie Miller (Centro-matic, South San Gabriel) and with guest spots from The Oxygen Ponies, Randi Russo and Woodpigeon. We're managed by Gilles Pugatch in the US (Chris Mills, Land of Talk) and Noelle Fox in Ireland (Sam Foggarino, You Am I). We love Wilco, Springsteen, The Replacements, The Hold Steady, The National, Okkervil River, The Long Winters, Shearwater, Ted Leo, The Mountain Goats and many many more. We're off to the US in April for a string of show in New York and environs and there'll be many more trips like that in the not so distant future. We've a good run of gigs booked and are currently drummerless so this is an urgent request.
