Zoo Zero need a bassist! We released our debut EP on seven-inch in January – first batch is now sold out in Rough Trade http://www.roughtrade.com/site/shop_detail.lasso?search_type=sku&sku=347934 – and we were featured in the NME Radar section last month ("…Fugazi shoutiness and post-punk spikiness…", apparently) and positively reviewed in Loud & Quiet magazine.

We're a two-guitar/drums/bass group into bands like Sonic Youth, Yo La Tengo, Deerhoof, Deerhunter, The Flaming Lips and Amon Duul II, and need a London-based bassist who's into these kind of bands, is committed, and likes making lots of noise.

We're looking to release another vinyl EP or single later in the year, and already have industry interest (yes, this is actually true!). We are currently playing with a temporary bassist after our old one left in January, and would be looking for someone who could practice with us soon and perform from May onwards.
