I've been in Berlin for a couple of years and am returning to London in the next month or so.
I am a drummer.
I have no formal training, I will be living in E1, I have a drumkit, I have played at festivals in North America, toured a little and put out bits and pieces here and there. I can send through tracks of what I've been involved with.
I'm 25 and a boy.
I used to lean towards 2-step/afrobeat-style rhythms, but that's seemingly changed a little. I've been known to enjoy super-stripped down, atmospheric percussion. I'm not even remotely embarrassed to say that I'm a fan of the drums on Motown and early-ish Phil Spector records.
I don't want money from you and I'm not in multiple bands. Neither do I have a ponytail.
I would like your music to be: sincere, visionary, at times intentionally difficult and only slightly self-indulgent.
I'm a genuine Beatles and Radiohead fan (mainly later albums) and I think that's reflected in my drumming style.
