Does anyone else experience some strange bodily behaviour when recovering from an evening's excess?

Weirdly, I find that my sense of smell is either heightended or distorted. Either way, I can smell srange smells all over the place, wherever I am.

I also find that my fingernails grow much faster after I've slept off a belly of beer.

Is this just me, or do other people have strange hangover effects as well?
