Commentators to sing Englands world cup song

JuxtaposedJames [Edit] [Delete] 15:51, 22 March '10

Eleven of England's well-known television commentators are to appear on a brand new football song ahead of this summer's World Cup finals.

‘Let’s Hear It England’ is being released in April to inspire the nation, support the national team and raise money for charity.

It’s the first time commentators from different TV networks have come together in this way.

Each of the starting XI has voiced specially recorded commentary to get the country and the team in a positive frame of mind for South Africa.

The line-up is as follows:

Jon Champion (ITV/ESPN)
Simon Brotherton (BBC)
Ian Darke (Sky)
Steve Banyard (Premier League Productions)
Peter Brackley (Ex Football Italia)
Steve Wilson (BBC)
Peter Drury (ITV)
Guy Mowbray (BBC)
Rob Hawthorne (Sky)
Martin Tyler (Sky)
Clive Tyldesley (ITV)
