Supermarket top tips or not top tips (nop nips)

tomatron [Edit] [Delete] 15:19, 26 March '10

Let's make a big compendium of what is DEAD GOOD and what is NOT DEAD GOOD from supermarket own brand stuff so that we all know what to buy and none of us needs to use our own judgement ever again.

This is probably THE WORST IDEA FOR A THREAD EVER.

I'll start us off with one of each

TOP TIP
Tesco
Limited edition Singapore Curry sauce.
Found in the fruit/veg aisle, amongst all the stir fry stuff.
Costs £1, or is included in 3 for £2.50 deal.
Tastes incredible and actually like the kind of sauce you'd get at a restaurant or some crap.

NOP NIP
Tesco
'Finest' Belgian wheat beer.
Found in the beer aisle, amongst all the beer.
Costs ~£3, or is included in 2 for a fiver deal - some crap like that anyway.
Too fizzy and doesn't taste of anything. Big foamy piece of CRAP. Leffe and Hoegaarden are both in the same offer, so get them instead, stupid dummies.
