So earlier today I was at a music quiz in a pub. One of the questions was "what song do these lyrics some from?", the lyrics in question being "following the river of death downstream".

Faced with what were to me quite clearly ridiculously angsty nu-metal lyrics I immediately thought of the famous twee song I could and shouted out as a joke "is it Bright Eyes"? Only to get the pub quizmaster look at me angrily and say "well, that's two points to all the teams then".
