'The Argos Catalogue Game'

Van_Gok_Wan [Edit] [Delete] 12:17, 25 April '10

Anyone else heard of this? I remember going round to a friend's house when I was about 8 and her and her mum had this game where they opened the Argos catalogue at random and had ten seconds to decide which item on the page they, as consumers, wanted to own the most, then had to point at it.

I was really unsure about it and just pointed at the thing in the middle but they often found fault with these choices. So I tried cheating by pointing at whatever I thought their fingers were going for, but somehow got caught out.

There was an Argos catalogue outside at the Scottish drinks and ice cream van courtyard at this art thing I was at in a semi-delapidated mill last night, and it made me think of this game, (and whether it is art. Times I overheard "is this art?" last night: 4)
