Have we had a thread about those World Cup Pepsi adverts yet?

PreludesNocturnes [Edit] [Delete] 10:16, 26 April '10

Normally I'm quite permissive when it comes to celebs doing adverts, particularly if they're not actually that successful in the grand scheme of things. If I was Robert Webb, I don't think I could turn down half a day's work for however many thousand quid just because it involved plugging Macs. If I was the guitarist out of Battles that no one's ever heard of, if the difference between being comfy and scraping the barrel between now and the next album was letting Honda use Atlas, then I don't think I'd think too hard about it.

But then I see this:

Surely, SURELY, men being paid £150k+ a week plus whatever they get for shilling boots and razors, can put a higher price on their dignity?

How did they even get out of bed that morning, knowing that they were off to let Pepsi truss them up like the Ultimate Warrior, for one more pile of money that they'll never get around to spending?

Just say no, millionaire footballers.
