in racial terms?

I'm going a Black Students Campaign launch tonight:

"Black Students represent students of African, Arab, Asian and Caribbian descent"

Spelling aside. What about like indigenous people from Australia, New Zealand, South America etc?

Is it useful to use it as a word that seems to want to mean non-white?

Does it matter?
