In a word -Irritating.

The dialogue is all two or more people talking at the same time, often repeating what the other has said back to them, Mickey Rourke completely unintelligible and Sam Rockwell, playing a (deliberately) irritating character far too well and too often.

Scarlett Johannsen is an incredible example of someone having screen absence rather than presence - she is almost inert, showing no expression at all.

The film as a whole just seems half baked - not sure if it stands alone or is just an installment in the bigger Avengers project. Massively disappointing.
