I saw "Slim Susie" the other week and realized that it's actually the only Scandinavian film I've ever seen. In fact, I've had next to no experience with Scandinavian culture. Have eaten some Scandinavian dishes, did a report on Norway in the 7th grade--and that's it. So I think film is as good a place as any to start with getting to better know Scandinavian culture, no? What are some great Scandinavian films?
