I did try and find my original question that I asked months ago but DiS has eaten it so here goes...

The time has come that I must install iTunes on my laptop.

It used to be there with its full compliment of songs, however PC World erased it because I told them just to "Totally clear the laptop, yeah" - d'oh.

Therefore please can someone tell me (pref in easy bullet points):

1. How to get iTunes back on desktop
2. How to get the tunes that appear in my iPod to appear in the library on the desktop without me wiping my iPod/iTunes library/both.

And for the record, last time lots of folk helpfully suggested Limewire etc but I just wanna stick with iTunes...
