Fulham, football team of the people elect, take on Atletico Madrid in the Europa League final tonight. I'm struggling to have really strong feelings about Fulham as a club, but I hate the earnest, gushing praise they're getting from so many people so I think I'm going to back Atletico tonight. They're shit, mind, so Fulham do have a decent chance.

Prelim World Cup squads announced. England's has been talked about a fair bit on here and the only other big calls that seemed all that interesting were Argentina leaving Cambiasso out (again) and France dropping Vieria and Nasri.

A few transfer tidbits doing the rounds, most of them have pretty much no legs ... Stephen Ireland will not be going to Chelsea in a £20m move, nor will Luka Modric. I suppose it's not too insane an idea that Paul Robinson could go to Arsenal though ...
