My girlfriend, who teaches in a primary school, has been after one for her class. I spotted one on a HMV binge (gonna watch Valhalla Rising tonight, wooo) and bought it for her, but it's got me thinking.

How acceptable would it be for a 24-year old man to have one? Could I go back to HMV for one and maintain any sense of self-esteem?
