Sausage rolls are a thing of beauty. I've been a big fan of them for a number of years and can happily consume most types across the spectrum from homemade efforts to those ones they sell at Greggs which look like a sunburt penis in pastry. Yes some are pretty moody and are made from bits of the pig that nobody wants to eat but that doesn't really bother me.

This all leads up to a fantastic sausage roll I've just eaten. It's from the Ginger Pig and costs £3. I've bought quite a few things from there before but for some reason never got round to getting a sausage roll until now. Let me tell you it puts most others well in the shade. It tastes fantastic and is big enough to share if you're that way inclined. I remember Ibzo talking about these beauties and he was right. If you like a sausage roll then you owe it yourself to get one of these.
