i should be in berlin to watch Jonsi this weekend but . . .

group of us driving down to stansted, halfway down realise i forgot passport, no time to turn car around so pile out and onto train, flatmate meets train with passport, another friend speeds me to airport to catch last minute flight which would give me half an hour to get across stansted to meet mates and make original flight.

flight to stansted had an estimated delay which had it landing after the berlin plane took off.

only options now:
a) £100+ train to london, arriving at midnight to get £60+ 6:30am flight
b) £60 train to glasgow, arriving at midnight to get £80+ 7am flight
c) acknowledge that it's cost me a lot already and that i really afford another £150, go home, buy some chips and wallow in self pity
