I have been thinking about the fact that the UK is a great place for holidays, but that while I know that X is beautiful and Y has rolling hills, I'm not entirely sure what actual days out there are in different counties.

So I figured if everyone told people one or two visitor attractions in their area, it'd be a pretty great resource pool. I guess I just want to make best use of the summer.

SO: my hometown is near Peterborough. A good day out in better weather is Hamerton Wildlife Park, located in Huntingdon. It has big cats and wolves (in massive enclosures) and also lots of small fluffy things that look sweet but will probably rip out your thorax. YEAH :-D
