What is the point of democracy? The majority cannot progress their debate and decision making to the level that the parties truly differentiate on
therefore although in theory the gov is chosen by consent, it is by consent by default on null points because the voting decisions are made on incorrect and irrelevant ideas.
If the public are uninformed to the correct level upon which the parties differentiate (and also able to discuss amongst themselves) then how is their voting, of any advantage?
