Drunk and thoroughly miserable following England's World Cup capitulation on Sunday, I stumbled into my nearest Game and comfort-bought Naughty Bear.

It's much, much harder than I thought it would be an the early learning curve made me very tempted to trade it in after just a few days, but now that I've got a handle on it, it's pretty good fun. Nothing quite like murdering one teddy bear with a golf club, watching as another teddy bear witnesses your terrible crime and runs off to call the police, only to realise too late that you'd left an open bear-trap right next to the busted phone so they can't escape when you finally arrive to scare them into taking their own life.
