Y'know what's really awkward - when you're walking down the street and you see someone you know approaching you in the distance, but they're too far away to communicate with, so you sort of wave and carry on walking towards eachother.

I mean at exactly what point do you begin talking to eachother? Post-wave do you just keep walking as if you hadn't seen them? Or do you sort of put on some sort of anticapatory facial expression? Are they noticing anything unusual about the way you walk? All these worries
