after watching the human centipede yesterday and feeling sort of grossed out but at all scared, i've been downloading loads of horror in a mission to make myself do a shit

so this morning i watched the texas chainsaw massacre 2, and here's the thing - i didn't realise that it was absolutely batshit mental so for the first hour i was just confused. i don't want to ruin it for those who haven't seen but it involves dennis hopper with a small army of chainsaws cutting down a crypt screaming I'LL TAKE DOWN YOUR PLAYGROUND, I AM THE LORD OF THE HARVEST, leatherface fingering a woman with his chainsaw, and the skinning of a radio dj assistant's face. it ends in the most hilariously abrupt way, too.

now i'm downloading the texas chainsaw massacre 3 (lol), REC, Oldboy, and cannibal holocaust, which apparently is a tough watch if you're not a big fan of squirrel monkeys being tortured.

recommend some good horror...i like the cheesy stuff but i prefer gorey psychologically disturbing things...but at the same time nothing that tries too hard (eg using shitty £300 cams to record the whole film)
