I went back home this weekend, and realised that I don't actually bother that much. I'm from Altrincham, and I live about 3-4 miles away in Didsbury, but I still don't make the effort to go back as much as I should. ANYWAYS, I always feel like a bit of a celebrity when I walk down my road, with neighbours speaking to me like I'm Gandalf visiting a hobits village. Everywhere I looked were pregnant schoolfriends, and bitter people who's horizons seem to end at the flyover to timperly. Do you have a difficult relationship with your hometown?
