I'm inspired to write this thread as I watched the Godfather for the first time the other day, I've not yet seen the second but I've heard it's much better than the first.
So in your opinion, what film sequels are as good, if not better than the originals?
No Lord of the Rings or anything that was intended to have other parts, just films that ended up having a sequel.
I really love all the Lethal Weapon films though by the 4th it is getting pretty cheesy but I do love them all.
Aliens is great, possibly even better than Alien though I've never properly sat down and watched Alien.
