What kind if etiquette wouod you expect on a train?

Perhaps one person shouldn't sit at a table when in their own and dont really need the table? i just sat at a table and got a bit if a dirty look off a woman, but she soon turned away when i pulled out a notebook, pen and another book im working from.

What about sitting next to someone? A guy just sat on the ither side of the table to me and said hello - very nice but not really necassary.

Anyway, pointless thread - how are you??
