I just cannot get rid of my gut feeling that it is a total and complete waste of money - the folly of people like smug faced Lord Coe who, lost in his own hubris could never, ever see that the money would be far better spent on hospitals, social housing, pensioners etc etc but maybe thats just because I am small minded and unimaginative.

What are your thoughts?
