My mate just messaged me saying he's not sure if he'll be able to come see me today.

He spent weeks convincing me to come out to Amsterdam to work with him - he's been a great friend, but since I've come last week he's been really wierd. I do have other friends out here, but they're all on holiday at the moment so it's just me, my mate and his girlfriend.

On Friday, Saturday and Sunday he was supposed to come over and help me move in and sort out my job with me and just chill out and every time an hour or so before he said he was sorry but couldn't make it, but would definitely be there on Monday....

I wouldn't mind so much if he didn't literally beg me to come over and said how much fun it would be. Well I'm going out with his girlfriend for dinner I think now....but I just wish I was at home now where I have loads of friends who would be glad to spend time with a mate on his 20th birthday.

If this carries on I reckon I'll be back in England by the end of the week.
