Even better, at steam shows, is when you get steam powered threshing machines and you get to watch them in action.

I don't know what the allure is - I have maybe gone to a steam show once every four years, and yet whenever I DO go, I'm mesmerised.

Steam engines are brilliant and I'd like those who share this sentiment to also talk about steam engines.
