Another Edinburgh Festival Thread

Reckoning [Edit] [Delete] 17:40, 11 August '10

The Edinburgh Festival is the greatest thing in the world. It truly is. Every year, i have the most amazing time walking around and seeing amazing/great/good/average/terrible comedy/music/stuff. Thus far it has been no different this year. The weather has helped, being mainly dry, and the atmosphere is wonderful, as always.

The last 4 days have been a bit of an extended lost weekend but have involved seeing the following:
Mark Watson 'Do I Know You': I love Mark Watson - 4/5
Axis of Awesome: Occasionally brilliant (boy band song; 4-chord song), also a bit average at times - 3/5
Gyles Brandreth: As engaging a speaker as you're likely to see at this festival, a real treat - 4/5
Arj Barker: Amazing. 4.5/5
Loads of free stuff at the meadows bar and GRV: 0.5-4/5 (the 4/5 for Matt Green who we were lucky enough to catch aside one of *the* worst stand-ups i've ever seen).

August in Edinburgh, ftw.

RECOMMEND 2 ME (aside from the following, who i'm planning to see anyways: Miles Jupp, Wonderland, Camille).
