Anyway, The Monarch - a venue 2.5 years old and sandwiched between Lock Tavern and Barfly - is looking for a monthly, free entry club night.
So we'd like some new DJs please.
DJs who can promote (ie. know how to use the internet, maybe hand out flyers etc) as well as DJ.
We pay for our own street team at the weekends but the more people you can bring in, the more money we can pay you.
It would be from 8pm to 2.30am, on the first Friday of the month.
It would need to be reasonably mainstream but preferably not including 'Last Nite', 'Mr Brightside' or 'Sex On Fire' as trust me, we have that covered already.

Clubs already in the venue:
Back To The Future - bands, DJs playing eclectic shit past and present
Nuisance - Britpop Britpop and some more Britpop
Rock Gods - Led Zep to Iron Maiden to Motley Crue to, oh yes, The Darkness
Soundtracks - the hits from all the greatest movies, without the talky bits

Now I realise the market is already quite saturated in all genres but we are surely lacking some kind of 'niche' that people would like to dance to in Camden (or Chalk Farm if you're going to get pedantic about it) on a Friday night. Maybe a night that includes Weezer, for example. Just a thought.
