Shit Holiday Theft

OvertakenByTractors [Edit] [Delete] 14:23, 4 September '10

On holiday with family. My Mum was our sole driver. She didn't get a green card for whatever reason. Someone (allegedly some prolific gypsies) broke into our car and stole EVERYTHING while we were in a gallery in Denmark. This includes passports, credit cards, phones, 2 macbooks, ipod, house keys. I could go on. How much could be covered by home insurance? What should be our next course of action. Back home now, so getting expensive emergency passports and getting home has already been accomplished. As has cancelling all stolen credit cards...

Has this happened to anyone else?

And yes I fully understand that I should 1. not have taken so many valuables with me. 2. not left them in the car (despite our tinted windows, and despite the fact that all things were packed down.)
