Hi folk,

Someone I know is looking to move out of their house which is now on a month by month contract-which was verbally agreed after their 12 month contract expired. However the landlord is being a bit difficult about them giving 1 months notice and is instead insisting they pay for 2 months, whereas the person in question doesn't think this is right.

Could anyone possibly give some advice? I've looked on CAB for them but it seems somewhat vague, esp. when they don't have a physical contract.
