When speaking to other people I mean.

I say girlfriend (or gf in print). I once said missus but I was asked if she was my wife, so that clearly shouldn't be used.

I also think I referred to her as "the old lady" once but the other person thought I was talking about my mum.

Someone on here used a ridiculous word for their boyfriend the other day, like "boyparts" or something like that.
