Hullo all,

Apologies for the clutter, but I'd be grateful for any laptop reccomendations, in the region of £500 to £600 as I have been tasked with finding something decent for the girlfriend to buy.

My own search hasn't gone far beyond Dell, on teh reasoning that if my desktop is anything to go by, their laptops will probably also be fairly unexciting but will actually work quite well.
