Something breaks, you start fiddling with it, go a bit too far, end up totally dismantling it and thinking you've fucked it for good, then manage to re-assemble it having solved the initial problem. best feeling ever.
the rollerball on my blackberry wasnt working, i started trying to stick things underneath to make it go round, no success.
then started pulling panels off the phone and before i knew it my desk was covered in tiny pieces of phone - little bits of zine, 3mm roller-rod things, assorted bits of plastic etc. my colleague was laughing at me saying i'd fucked it.
spent about an hour trying to re-assemble it with my boss looking increasingly annoyed. just managed it. and it fucking works. i feel like god.
what have you broken - dismantled - reassembled - fixed?
